Montiqueijo is a dairy product company, specialized in the production of cow’s cheese, founded in 1963 by the couple Carlos and Ludovina Duarte, where the tradition in the palate has remained since the oldest generations. The Duarte family started their activity with a small cheese shop in Lousa, to sell fresh cheese in Lisbon and quickly managed to impose themselves. Currently, they are one of the leading Portuguese brands producing fresh cheese, cottage cheese and cured cow cheese.

All of their fresh cheeses are halal certified.
